I have a lighter Deltex stand, like the Apex. It's fine for one
keyboard and quick setup. I've used it for that. Other than that I
agree about column stands' stability problem with lighter dual 61-76
note keyboards - without adding extra fixes (?time to set up) to make
the stand more stable. Heavier keyboards would seem to work better;
but I already have Quik-Lok double-X's. Using the two single-X
stands together still seems like a good idea. For me it'd be just
the right height and keyboard placement. Now if I could figure out a
simple stick-on or snap-on to brace the stands together with a spacer
in between and still have fast setup with minimum extras... Walter
