I think I would deal with the cable holders for the improved appearance. My rig looks like someone dumped a bowl of spaghetti over it...Haha!!
But Ricks comment about the Apex being a bit wobbly gives me concern. I tend to bang away at the piano (bottom tier) and do lots of palm slides on the organ (top tier).
Hmm...just something with the band logo on it could be used to hide the spaghetti.
