Couple weeks ago I picked up a used Sony Vaio laptop. It has the Intel Celeron 900mHz chip and 128mb memory, 2 USB ports, running Win XP Pro.
Are you saying the Evolution MK-461C USB controller keyboard can run NI's B-4 right out of the box? That would be cool!

Actually, the MK-461C not only has 9 sliders, it also has a "drawbar" mode where the sliders work backwards. According to the manual, the mode was specifically designed around the needs of the NI B-4, and one of the presets that come from the factory is fully setup to work with the B-4.
BTW, Evolution is a UK company that was bought out by M-Audio, who also owns Midiman. Everything being equal, the Evolution products beat their Midiman brethren across the board.
