Tony,

Which memory card did you buy (brand and specs)? I was not sure what to get
for the V-Combo.

One other thing I'll say about the V-Combo vs. the Electro: I don't really
miss the red color very much. The dark metallic gray V-Combo is much more
understated and attractive on stage, in my opinion. I did like the red wood
end blocks on the Electro, but have always preferred black or dark gray
keyboards (can't stand Triton or Motif silver).

One last thing about the Vcombo. It has a memory card
slot (about $30 from Best Buy or any electronics
store) that will allow you to dump and save a whole
lot of Vcombos, depending on the size of the flash
card you buy. They load quick...so you can design one
Group of Vcombo (64 patches, right!?) as your only
keyboard on the gig; another Group as your Electro and
Vcombo Gig; or set up a group as just synth
stuff...you get the idea. This thing is pretty cool.

XLR Balanced outs make the sound guy happy and
eradicate the need for DIs, and still has 1/4 outs
too. Each section has its own individual volume knob,
as well as one Master Volume Knob, and a master eq
section (good for adjusting from indoor to outdoor
shows for example).

Ok...nuff said!
