You mean there's no "control pedal" jack on a VK8-M? That's what I use for foot control on my VK-8.

Hi Mike,
I have owned a Roland VK-8M for about 3 months, and am quite pleased
with it so far. It sounds very good to me, although maybe not as good
as my Korg BX-3. However, it is much more convenient on smaller
stages when I don't have room for the BX-3.
I have also owned the Hammond XM-1 and drawbar modules. IMHO, the VK-
8M sounds MUCH better than the Hammond. I also like the fact that the
Roland is contained in one module.
My only complaint about the VK-8M is that, while it's fun to use the
D-beam controller to change the speed of the Leslie simulation (you
feel like a magician waving his hand over his magic hat), I wish
Roland had included a footswitch jack, so you could use a pedal for
that purpose.
