Mike, the 1530 is an AMAZING sounding speaker. I think it's a bit of
overkill for an "amp" - it's a gorgeous, smooth 3 way that makes a wonderful
powered PA speaker.

It's over 100 pounds, pretty hefty for one person.

I used to have a KC500. I use a pair of Mackie 450s and love 'em, but I
think even they are a bit heavy.
