Subject:Re: Hammond T-222?

I have a friend who buys and sells used cars at auction. He says he likes dealing pickup trucks. Says, "If a pickup runs and has four tires it's worth a thousand bucks minimum." I think it's the same with Hammonds. If it says Hammond on it, you can find someone who wants it. Anything Hammond is desireable to someone and that makes it collectable to you!

Folks,

Would it be worthwhile to rescue a T-222 that's waiting for the garbage truck?

It was in our church building. I have no idea if it works or not. One of the keys on the lower manual is broken.

There are Leslie cables coming out of the back panel, and I think it has two half-moon switches on the front.

No Leslies nearby, tho there is a junky-looking Piper....

Wadda ya think?
