Subject:Thanks Everyone

Good comments on the Leslie mics. I'm looking for an easy way out
and I guess the best thing to do is to forget about it. Usually the
soundmen take care of me anyway, so its not that big a deal. I
thought it would be nice to have some kind of semi permanent mount
and my own mics for them.

Last night I miked it the mics pointing at the louviers as was
mentioned in one of the posts. It's hard for me to tell if this way
was any better or not. Usually I mike it from the back at the open
part and have the mics about 6" away from the rotors, slightly off
center to avoid wind noise.

My band is very loud so I worry about miking it from too far away
and picking up extra noise.
