Subject:Re: Rolls leslie simulator?
I had an earlier version of this unit a few years back--the slow and fast
speed adjustments were internal, and the speed change was instant in the
version I had. But it was not much good as a Leslie sim--it was
essentially a chorus you could switch between two speeds. And I found out
how to do the speed adjustments by calling their tech support, and they
also gave me the info I needed to wire up a speed-switching footpedal for
it. I would say their tech support was pretty good.
BTW, I used Rolls active crossovers in both of my Leslie conversions, with
excellent results. The Rolls SX21 active crossover is simple,
inexpensive, and compact, and works very well for the $70 I paid for each
one.
