Subject:Re: Nord Electro vs Kurzweil PC2x

Hmmm...I haven't really explored the PC2 as a
controller, only as a standalone keyboard. While it's
ok, I much prefer my Motif and my Motif Rack for the
meat N potatoes sounds. I've learned the A70/90 OS
and feel very comfortable with it, so the learning
curve isn't an issue. My gut instinct is to take the
PC2 back. Then figure out what to do about keyboard
#2. One solution would be find another used A70 (have
owned 3 of them..lol) and just use the piano board,
but my main problem is I need the weighted feel. Which
brings me back to the SL880. Even a Kurzweil
Micropiano with that would be tolerable. But I still
have a little time...I'm going to see if I can't train
myself to like the Electro as a piano. I can deal
with it as an electric piano and clav...but trying to
play it as a rockin piano on fast 2-steps could be
tricky, if not downright frustrating.

I thought somebody made a decent 76 note weighted
controller. Or did I imagine that? Even if it did
one or 2 zones I could be cool with that.
