I have 3 difference ones...

My main gigging "throne" is an x-frame bench by
quicklock. I use that one mainly because it allows me
to get tall (to accommodate my Invisible stand). It's
comfy (well padded) and take 5 seconds to collapse and
bungee closed.

#2 is also an x-type that is much smaller and much
more compact and works great when I use my WS550
stands (which are shorter).

#3 is a Rok Steady drummers throne which also gets
tall, but has the inherent mangling finger danger:
seat cushion (like a Harley butt cushion!) comes off
with a thumb screw, the shaft screws down from two
angles, and of course the telescoping tripod legs are
another casualty inducer.

#1 and 2 were both around $50, and #3 was around $100
(plus an extra $50 for the backrest, which I don't use
unless it's a long day in the studio).
