Subject:Controlling Nord Electro with Roland VK-8M drawbars

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone out there who has access to a VK-8M or the
user manual can tell me if the drawbars send MIDI values out on
individual MIDI channels. And are the channels that it uses at all
programmable?

I recently purchased a Nord Electro and am looking at options for more
"physical" drawbars. I was originally considering some sort of generic
MIDI controller with sliders. But I've decided that I'd like to get a
second Hammond clone for when I'm gigging/jamming and want to be able
to play a Hammond sound together with the e-piano/clav sounds on the
Electro.

The VK-8M seemed like a good choice since it's a module and thus less
expensive. And it would be great if I could also use its drawbars to
control the Electro when I'm doing recording (since I do prefer the
Electro's Hammond/Leslie tone over the Roland clones that I've heard).
