Actually, he'd been using leslies again for the last
15/20 years. But... in his live rig, he had 3
122s/147s on his side of the stage, and each sat on a
matching single 15" cabinet. Whether he used that for
more low end(doubtful with a bassplayer) or whether
those were the speakers for his "marshall" tone I
can't be sure, but I'm guessing it was for the
overdrive sound.
