yeah, you are right. The ole one sounds great on this heavy stuff. I
recommend a tube amp, u can turn on much keyclick than without sounding
thin.

With the old one and a tube preamp, a simple tranistor leslie would do
the trick. The internal one is crap. Buy an HK Tube Rotosphere
otherwise, there u have Rotary AND Tube sound. But u cant have tube
sound without the leslie-effect then.

Well, as someone pointed out a few weeks ago, he used this guitaramps
often, but the leslies are used much more. You can use the leslie on
"stop" for that purpose as a mix.

As I said, u get this beasty sound, even with a transistor amp, but be
sure to have some tube in between (NOT in the internal In/outs !) for
the warmth and overdrive/distortion. If you get the tube distortion well
calibrated, so that it is hot and crunchy, the internal overdrive of the
korg will let u have the extra kick you need for Perfect Strangers Intro
and such things.
