Subject:Replacement Leslie Drivers and horns

I use the Ruby driver on my stage leslie (145). I had to scale the
crossover values for 12ohms to get it to sound right. It is much
louder then stock and not quite as smooth which is great for rock.

I use the D250 in my SKB leslie w/an Lpad. Its not as smooth as the
Ruby but works for that application. The ADF25-35 adapter plate is
useful too. (parts express #264-320) for $5.00 you can make a cheap
leslie horn adapter place (I used plywood for the rest of the adapter)

My BT productions driver blew before I could evaluate it when I was
playing w/gain settings on my A100 through a model 47 amp... It had
lower output then the Ruby and D250 drivers.

I did find using a stopped horn w/B4 made the sound more authentic.
The horn is necesary though, not just the driver in my opinion. It
would be an interesting test to take 2 drivers, offset them at 90
degress and cut a leslie horn to make a stereo pair.
