Subject:I ordered Electro.... now some questions

Well guys.... I took a big RISK and ordered an Electro - and it had more
than a little to do with all of your overwhelming feedback in support of this
product. Guitar Center in Portland matched the 8th street Music price of $1200.00
for 61 key version 2 so I will be seeing it in 2 to 3 weeks. Yes, I will
have to pay full to demo it, but they have full return policy If I don't like it

In the meantime I have questions. To those of you who run
Electros through Leslies , is the percussion volume on these things generally
tolerable through a leslie horn ? One of the things I liked about the VK7 was its
adjustable percussion volume - you could back off the drawbars a bit and also
back of the percussion volume. I also have not tried the version 2 with (
supposedly) adjustable key click. I had the click on my VK backed off quite a bit.
I have not much need for artificial "digital" click and am hoping I can deal
with it.
Other than that so many of you say
you love them that it did influence my decision on what will replace my VK7.
By the way I will say that I enjoyed playing a VK7 and had very few if any
negative comments about it. In fact, it now sounds BETTER to me now that I know
it will soon be leaving. Here's HOPING the Electro is an improvement.....
