Subject:Fatar TMK88

Has anyone tried this new MIDI controller from Fatar as an organ
keyboard?

Although it has piano shaped keys, it is not weighted and has a
positive feel to the action so it would appear to make a good organ
controller, that could double as a piano controller as well.

The only drawback seems to be that like almost every other non-
weighted MIDI controller on the market, the key fulcrum is right
behind the back of the key, so on long gigs middle finger-tips start
to hurt...(anyone else get this?)

The fulcrum on a Hammond is about 6" back from the rear of the key
so the pressure needed to press a key at the back is pretty similar
to the front. With the fulcrum at the back of the key, the pressure
might be 10x that at the front which is no fun to play.
