Ham/Suz spent a fortune developing the new B3, more than they can ever hope
to recover from high-end organ sales. The "engine" in the new B3, C3, and
portable version is state-of-the-art, but these organs are, by necessity priced
above the range of the average user. To be successful, the B3 "engine" (which
is highly "tweakable," BTW) must ultimately find its way into a wider range of
products.

The "market life" of clones is quite short, more like the latest computer
than say, a decent piano. The XK-2 is still current but it is getting a bit
dated. Any number of new competitive keyboard products have been introduced since
it came out some 4-5 years ago. You put it together..
