Probably BETTER results because the speakeasy likes the hotter signal that
it will get from the gain increasing you get with the effects send
pot. You can send more from the organ than from the others.
This assumes you will go from Speakeasy out into speakers? I doubt Steve
meant to return via effects return because then you are blending
unprocessed signal with processed, like adding reverb.
On the other hand, you could return to 2 unused channels of the mixer and
turn down mains fader on the channels that your keyboards ORIGINALLY went
into. Now you will have nothing but effected single in your main mix.
