If the problem is that it will reset itself now and then it could be
a bad soldering in the power supply. I had that problem on mine.
(sold now) I traced it, by knocking lightly with the handle of a
screwdriver, to the transformerlike filtercoil in the rectifier-area.
A bit of soldering and the problem was gone.
