Thank you for the interesting and enlightening post. I do hope you will continue updating us as you prgress. I share your sentiments about softsynths having a big future.
You got my attention tho when you mentioned the RS9. You may have noticed in my recent posts I'm considering buying this board for it's light weight, piano sounds, and controller features. However, I'm curious why the specs call it a synth-weighted keyboard and you refer to it as non-weighted. Is this the same thing as an organ touch? (oh geez, here we go again) What's it like playing piano on a light touch keyboard? I have it in my head that I cannot do it.
BTW: Someone recently gave me a Sony Vaio laptop with 900mhz Intel Celeron.
