Subject:Re: V5 Arrival!!!!

I am using a V5>Rotosphere>Speakeasy Rig. I really love the sound of the V5 over all other clones I have tried and I have tried most all of them except the Nord. The Rotosphere works great for me too and, in spite of some less than glowing reviews I have read, I like it. I bought the Speakeasy Classic hoping to really put the icing on the cake. I have to say, using the Voce and the Rotosphere, I don't notice a huge difference in my sound whether I use the Speakeasy or not. I have tweaked and tweaked dials on both pedals and the V5 every way possible but can't see a big difference with or without the Speakeasy. Maybe this is because the Rotosphere already has a tube. Not to say the Speakeasy isn't great for other clone rigs, it just hasn't lived up to what I expected for improving my setup. I really wanted to love it, but if I had it to do all over again I don't know that I would buy the Speakeasy as it's not cheap. Anyone else have a similar experience using a V5>Rotosphere>Speakeasy?

Subject: [CWSG] V5 Arrival!!!!

I think I may have latched onto something. I finally throughin the
towel and bought a Voce V5. I really think I like it better than my
CX-3 ver2.0. I'm playing it through a H & K Tube Rotosphere and am
considering using my Speakeasy as well to really fatten it up. I have
to admit it sounds pretty darn ballsy already. Anyone else out there
using a V5>Rotosphere>Speakeasy Trio? I'm not against listenning to a
Nord Electro if I knew someone close that had one, I've been
considering it for a while as an alternative to the CX-3. I just
can't seem to find a happy medium with it no matter what I do...
Thanks for any help...
