Subject:RE: CX3 software Update
Well, I'm one of the apparently VERY few people who ended up with a
fried motherboard after attempting the upgrade. Ran through all the
tests without a problem before saying "GO", still it killed my CX-3. The
mainboard replacement took a full two months (!!) and cost me roughly
the equivalent of USD 500,-. Needless to say I got the SHOP to do the V2
upgrade on the new motherboard...
Am I happy with the improvements in v2? Absolutely. Was it worth USD
500,- and being without the CX-3 for two months? Nope... ;-)
Regards from Norway,
Gunnar

Subject: [CWSG] CX3 software Update
Hi All,
Has anyone updated their CX3 with the new software update ?
I was about to do it but I read how it's a little dangerous -
apparently you could fry your mainboard!
If you've done it - was it worth the risk ?
