I emailed Kurzweil Support to ask the weight of the PC1X. I got a rather detailed response that some here may find interesting. The entire text of both emails follows:

Hello -
I'm looking hard at the new PC1X and very close to making a purchase. Just need to know the weight of this instrument to help seal the deal. Can't seem to find this listed in specs on any site. In fact I don't see the PC1X at all on the Kurzweil site. http://www.kurzweilmusicsystems.com/
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards, H.J.HansenHello,
Thank you for your interest in Kurzweil products.

Our new web site is currently under construction, but it should be up in the next few weeks. As a result, our current web site is a little bit behind regarding new products. I apologize for any inconvenience.
To quickly summarize, the PC1X is the same as a PC2X, but with some features removed: the PC1X does not have KB3 mode, the polyphony cannot be expanded, and it has very limited editing capabilities.
Below I have copied some PC1X info, including a more detailed comparison between the PC1X and the PC2X. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.
==================
The action of the PC1X is VERY similar to the PC2X - it is an 88 note, fully weighted action. The only difference is that the keyboard in the PC2X is made with a stronger type of plastic, so you'll be less likely to break keys if you drop it, etc.
The PC1X has the same base ROM programs as the PC2, but it does not have KB3 mode.
The PC1X weighs 51 lbs without packaging.
