Subject:RE: Should I Trade my Cx3 for a Hammond Xk2

The XK2 is a very well built organ with decent tone and superb keyboard
action. However, its internal Leslie simulation is woefully inadequate.
The new CX3's internal Leslie completely blows it away without question. If
you want to get anywhere close with an XK2, an external Leslie effect
(Motion Sound or real Leslie) is an absolute MUST. If I were you, I would
stick with the CX3 and consider a separate module for the bass tone if
playing pedals is a high priority. If you swap for an XK2, you will need to
factor in the extra investment needed for external Leslie help.

Subject: [CWSG] Should I Trade my Cx3 for a Hammond Xk2

Even though I love my Cx3 running through my pitiful Peavey kb300 amp
(good leslie effect), I am looking to upgrade, but This clone does not
have a pedal option/nor does it have the option to hook up a leslie
like the xk2 or vk8 has.

Why Korg left this out I do not know...It seems to me that those other
2 clones have more versatility when it come to upgrades. Maybe I'm
blind and not looking at the whole picture, but those of you that have
played or have an xk2 or vk8 let me know how do you like it.
