Subject:VK-7 (selling)

Hi folks,

I got my VK-7 back from the shop. Had to replace the power supply; $100 labor, $46 for the hardware. Oh well, not bad for almost 5 years of pretty consistent gigging use.

However, I'm only using it as a MIDI controller these days. I get my sound from my IBM Aptiva running the B4 software.

While the VK-7 was in the shop, I was using my Alesis QS+ as a controller, and I loved how it felt. So I'm thinking of selling the VK-7 along with a flight case, and getting the Evolution UC-33 to use as a drawbar controller.

If anyone here would be interested in a VK-7, give me a holler. Otherwise, what would be a good price to ask on Ebay? I paid $1750 for it in '99, and paid $250 for the case. I'd like to ask $1000 for both.
