Subject:Re: mapping CC's for B4
Hmm that sorta jogs my memory of having a similar problem when I
first attempted to set it all up. This may be unrelated but I think
I also installed Midi Yoke and it "just worked" after that. This is
how I setup and convert cc7 (volume) to cc11 (expression) :
KorgM1 -> Peavey PC1600x -> midiman 2X2 input A -> MidiOx (midiman
2X2 in A: selected as input in midi ox) -> Midi Yoke (midi yoke #1
selected as output in midi ox) -> B4 (midi yoke #1 selected as input
port in B4 settings)
I have no idea why this would make it work, but seems like when midi
yoke was out of the picture the midi filtering didnt do anything, or
it would send data on both cc7 and cc11.
Midi Ox and Midi Yoke are great programs but if your a midi novice
the learning curve is steep, but keep playing with it!
