I'm in central London and play in a funk covers band Funk Force Five

I use a VK-8, Speakeasy Clone pre-amp and Leslie 147 for gigging. I
also use a Roland JV-1010 with the 'Keyboards of the 60's and 70's'
expansion card for all those other sounds that funk sometimes needs!

Just as a matter of interest, I got my Leslie of an ex-Hammond
engineer called Clive. Based just north of London, he supplies and
repairs Hammonds and Leslies to The James Taylor Quartet and Stevie
Winwood, amongst others. If anyone wants his number, let me know and
I'll send it to them.

We'll be having a few gigs coming up in the new year. Are there any
other Funk clone players in the UK that are gigging?

Am considering the new Roland combo as a replacement for the VK-8
and JV-1010....
