Subject:Midi contol codes

Hi all,
In a previous post I was having a bit of a reflection on qwerty and piano keyboards.

I posed the question, "Do we have any software guru's out there that could hack a bit of code to
turn MIDI note controls into standard 101 keyboard type serial data ? "

There were no replies at all (apart from one supporting comment - Thank you goff747@aol.com)

This is a serious question. I just realised that if I could in fact send text from my midi organ keyboard I could control the whole PC with just the midi keyboard and pointing device (mouse). This could be very handy and save having to have a qwerty keyboard cluttering up the place when all I want to do is play !
