Thanks for the references.

Contrary to your opening line I interpreted the rest of your post to
actually agree in general with my intent. You said, "I only use the shape
of the drawbar settings as a visual reminder". That is exactly what I was
trying to say.

Whether you connect that 'shape' up with the underlying Fourier analysis is
up to you of course. The maths of it can be quite beautiful if you are into
it. If not, its just boring ol' maths.
