Here's my opinions n this, not owning the V-cmbo, but knowing a lot about
the srx cards. SRX7 is a must. From there, you have some choices. If you
want a good piano sound, consider srx2, but that piano is more like a
classical/solo piano and I don't know how well it would sit n a mix wth a
band. SRX3 is a good al around card with pianos, some organs, guitars,
synths, horns and such. It would probably be a good compliment t the srx7.
SRX4 is great if you need strings. SRX5 may not be as good unless you need
techno/dance sounds. SRX6 is great for more orchestral things. SRX8 is
another dance/hip hop oriented card. So, my choice, reminding you that srx1
is just drums, is either srx2, srx3, srx4, or srx6. SRX9 may be a good
choice as well. I'd get srx7 and srx3 for myself, personally.
