Subject:origin of 'clonewheel'

Speaking of KB Mag...
I've noticed that they regularly and have repeatedly been using the word "clonewheel".

Now this got me to wondering.
Just where did the term "Clonewheel" originate??

BW? is this your inventive genius adding to our lexicon?

According the the 'Little, Brown Handbook', the de facto authority of the published word, a "new word" must be used by recognized authority and credentialed publication before being considered truly acceptable to the average writer. KB mag would be such an 'authority' (publication-wise) in our field so that would pretty much make "clonewheel" a genuine addition to our language.

Anyway, not to bore anyone with the etymology, I just was wondering who to thank for the spark of creativity that is our namesake and apparently now a geniune addition to the language.

Anybody know?
