No you can't do that on the 760. I'm about to return mine - Alas the love
affair has worn off after 2 weeks, Lots of cool features, but the sounds
are boring me after 2 weeks, and I'm discovering shortcomings in its design,
these included, but mainly in the midi department that make it a less
effective controller than I need...

This board was not designed for purists like us, but for he other 95% ;-)

I find myself night after night inspired by the sounds and feel of the
electro and using the VR for an occasional lower manual organ and to control
my Virus and a few EP solos - not enough use or excitement to warrant
spending 2K on it. I'll get more flexibility using my V5 and electro routed
together into a leslie with a multitimbral 2nd keyboard - may get the Virus
KC...

As far as the piano discussion going on - here's my 2 cents:
The electro piano sounds are OK to use, I've acually chose the Steinway mono
patch over the Stereo Clavia ones - I don't grimace when I use it - it cuts
through pretty nicely - I have an RD-600 which is a great keyboard and
controller, though I'm a bit bored with pianos on that as well -

I have a 10 or 15 year old Roland P-55 that has a few patches that sound as
good or better to my ears than most anything Roland has on the market today
... I sold my Micro piano for it not too long ago - I'm not a huge kurzweil
fan, their piano sounds are to my ears, usually pretty thin and lacking, the
Micro cuts through in a band mix real well, and has a very distinctive
sound, but always needs EQ and the EPs are lame. The P-55 can be found used
for about 125.00 or so... By far my favorite piano sounds to use from my
current choices in my rig.

The Keyboard review also didn't mention if the pedal sound option
(also available on the VK7 and VK8) is implemented. I don't know
about anyone else, but I get frustrated by Keyboard's "incomplete"
reviews. (Sorry for the rant)."
