Subject:Re: V5 drawbar settings
Hi Larry,
If you don't mind pushing instead of pulling, check out www.doepfer.de
web-site and their Pocket Fader. I've got one for controlling the
lower draws on my Electro and it works just fine.
There are 16 faders, so some going spare which can be used for other
useful control messages like program change, volume, perc etc.
They're a cinch to edit, try downloading and playing around with
their small PC editor.
I find push faders are just fine for the lower manual and when/if I
have no further use for them they will sell well because they can be
used for all manner of midi control purposes.
I've cut out some tabs out of electrical tape, yellow to match the
color scheme, which I have stuck onto the relevant faders to
highlight the "white" drawbar/faders. They haven't accidently peeled
off but if I were to sell then they come off easily enough. Also they
are cheap, and cheerful, but very solid and they are a really neat
size.
Thomas.
