Subject:RE: foot pedals - best I've found
For virtual Leslie F/S switching, toggling through patch menus and doubling
as a hold/sustain pedal, I use the Yamaha FC5. It has an extremely sturdy
solid metal case making it fairly indestructible, and it's fairly thin so it
comfortably sits close to the ground. I buy them for $12 locally at a big
A/V discount store here that sells Casio and Yamaha home keyboards, but it's
definitely the most "pro" of the cheap footswitch pedals I've found; most of
the other are plastic. They're cheap enough that I keep a couple extras
floating around wherever I might need one (kind of the same way I now have
to keep reading glasses on every end table in my house and in all my
vehicles).
