You mean the CX3 is responding to the sampler, right?
In other words, the sampler is Midi Out to Cx3 Midi
In. If I understand you correctly then, have you
checked the midi channel assignment on both units to
make sure they correspond correctly? It sounds like
the problem and solution lie in your CX3, not your
sampler. That is unless your sampler is
multi-timbral, in which case make sure its not in (to
use Roland's jargon) Performance mode, but in Patch
mode (or to use Korg's jargon, "not in Combi mode").
You are correct in assuming that if the sampler is
indeed handling the note-on/note-off chore correctly,
it's not a problem with the sampler.
