In the Settings (Edit >> Settings >> Audio Driver tab) there is buffer size (samples) box that
has a number in it, and next to the number it displays the latency (I think that's the
latency). I remember it said 3.4 ms right after I changed my ASIO Quattro setting to 24 bit,
but now it says 10 ms again. I'm assuming that number is referring to latency, but correct me
if I'm wrong.

Yes, I do recognize the two sounds from the same audio track. The saxophone sound from the
internal speaker is very different than the bell-like piano sound that is coming out of the
Quattro speaker (from a VST). Additionally, in SOund Forge, I zoomed in to the first 50 ms of
the audio track I recorded, and you can see that the initial sine wave changes about 30 ms
into it, and you can sort of see the other sine wave overlaying on top of it. Just to make
sure, I highlited the first 30 ms and played it back repeatedly and all I could hear was the
saxophone sound. Then I highlighted the some of the track after the first 30 ms and I could
definitely hear the piano sound, which was not in the beginning.

So what do you think, any suggestions that don't involve removing my other sound card?
