The CX-3 V2 and BX-3 are practically identical, if you subtract the second keyboard and pitch/mod wheels. There are a couple of minor differences between the two like the Split button, but the basic sounds are the same. Mostly, what you get with the BX-3 is 1) two identical manuals, properly positioned; 2) a bigger top shelf to stick another keyboard on; and 3) freedom from any potential MIDI hangups on the lower manual (when using an external controller). You also get the aesthetics of a matching set of legs, and the bulk of an instrument that can be "leaned on" a bit more in performance, like a real B-3.
