Subject:OT: pitch bend using pedals

Apologies if this question has already been answered.

If you were doing synth solos involving pitch bend and wanted to use a pedal instead of the pitch wheel, which would you go with? (I use an Ensoinq TS-10 board)

You would prefer sending midi pitch bend data via a pedal instead of using an audio pedal such as a Digitech Whammy pedal...Right?
