Could you note down your leslie sim/swish/EQ settings and share?

Hi,
That being said by " Cortez", it was interesting to double the Electro with
the CX3. Talk about FAT! 2 leslie sims and voicing doubled.
I did something that many would not agree with last night. (Some may not be
wild about the Electro's sim) One thing that stood out with the Electro was
the presence of the leslie (like the B4).
I noticed that the rotor and horn of the electro were very similar in fast
speed plus there was enhanced 'swishing' due to mic placement. I tweaked the
CX3 to mirror the swish plus cranked the percussion volume abit also on the
CX3. In other words, I tried to make the CX3 sound like the Electro. I was
quite successful and yes....to my ears it sounds good. Some of the
shrillness
of the upper octaves came out with the leslie sim tweak. For example, one
thing I did was to load more sound into the rotor instead of the horn. That
made a big difference. Then I EQued out some of the lower bass that
accompianied that change.
The CX3 is still a good unit and once Korg gets off their "cans", maybe we
all
can have the option of version 2.
One small thing I noticed about using the rack with the RS9 controller
(there
it is again) is when I do key crushes and windmills I have so many notes
beneath and over the organ's 61 notes, it gives me freedom to really SLAM
the
thing without worrying about hitting my hand or knuckles on the ends of the
61
note keyboard!
Have a good night everyone and thanks to everybody on this list,
Dean
