I have a Protec case which is just OK. (I do like the wheels and the
fact that it can also hold your stand) If you do opt for this I
would reccommend that you put some soft cloth where the foam and
the "wood" of the CX3 meet. It will scratch. In fact even if you
opt for a deeper SKB case you should do that. I almost bought the
Gator, but at the time it was back ordered and I had a string of gigs
and didn't want to keep using the cardboard box, so I opted for the
Protec. The Gator look pretty good, however. I saw the roadready at
a gig last week. It is HEAVY.
