Subject:Re: Motion Sound KBR-M (keyboard amps)

I own a KBR-M, and I like it a lot. The top is
similar to a Pro-3T, with low rotor sim to the bottom.
I use it regularly at JJ's Blues in San Jose, and
have no problems competing with the guitars. The
bottom end isn't quite as full and rich as I would
like, but it's definitely passable.

It has a couple of other features that I like a lot:

* 2 inputs to the "clean channel", which is basically
a separate amp running through the same woofer, and
it's own (stationary) tweeter.

* The rotory horn has a built-in mic, and that plus
that clean channels all mix to a direct out, so it's
super easy to run through the PA.

* You can flip a switch so that one of the clean
channels does *not* go to the line out, and bring a
monitor line in to that channel. The amp tilts back
like a wedge monitor as well. The end result is that
mine doubles very nicely as a vocal monitor. This is
very nice if you sing.

Good luck picking the right amp for your rig!
