Subject:Which Speakeasy?

Hi Guys,

I lurk on this list occasionally, but don't post much.
I was wondering if you could help me out though:

I'm close to purchasing a Speakeasy pre-amp for my
rig, which is an early-model Korg CX-3 played through
a Motion-Sound KBR-M. I'm looking to warm it up a
bit, get a little more of that "round" attack. I play
mainly blues and rock, with some funk and R&B thrown
in as well. The sound I'm looking for is like Melvin
Seals on those great Jerry Garcia Band live albums.

So, do I want the "Howler", or the "Classic"? Also,
the Speakeasy will give me Melvin's chops, right?
Right? ;)
