I have both a newer 122A and an older 142. They are both wonderful speakers
with distinctly different personalities.

The think I like best about the newer one is that it takes up to 15 seconds
for the rotor to reach it's maximum speed when it is switched from chorale
to tremolo. This is a really great sound as it slowly speeds up ... sort of
like a long, beautiful orgasm.

The older one just speeds right up ... not much drama in that!!

They both slow down about the same.

Also, the newer one is a bit brighter, and cuts a little better in the band
mix.
