Thanks, I hadn't thought about that. It certainly makes sense, but I
haven't been using that feature. I just doublechecked by setting those
buttons in the "in" position, and I note that they go off after a short
time (the blue power leds go off). There's a slight click when the turn
off and when they turn back on.

With that function engaged, it seems to cut off the start of the first
transient when I start playing, but interestingly I don't hear the fuzz
on the first sound.
