Subject:RE: Korg CX-3 for sale

If you eliminate the weight factor, need for piano or other instrument
sounds, or need for a pedalboard as factors, based on just pure ORGAN SOUND,
which CLONE is better than a CX3 or BX3(new versions)?

The instruments come with 128 preset sound settings tweakable by about 30?(I
never really counted them) parameters, aside from the Leslie sim parameters
and whether you use the sim or not at all. Then add ins a Speakeasy and
maybe an EQ with all their respective settings. Now add in your Leslie and
it's adjustable settings or whatever amps or combos you can imagine.

I've never done the math, but this sounds like tens of thousands of
variations in your organ sound. I know some members have done extensive
tweaking. There are members who have posted, who I'm truly in awe of their
knowledge on music, midi, electronics, and the physics of sound.

I've never done much tweaking with my BX3(afraid to mess it up), and I'm not
a professional musician, but just by changing some amp settings, and other
basic adjustments, I've come up with some real B-3 like sounds thru a Leslie
21 system + Speakeasy.

It seems possible to be able to develop 8 or 10 basic volume and
instrument/amp EQ settings which are really satisfying, which might need a
little adjustment during live sets. Or even a patch for each song you might
do in a live situation.
