I would sure like to know what you think of it if you do it. A lot of organists like myself who play other than rock have removed them on their Leslies. I have both top and lo pro motion sound plus two Leslies.

Subject: [CWSG] adding a diffuser to Motion Sound (OT?)

Hey all,

Has anyone succesfully added a diffuser to the horn on their Motion Sound?

I've read that the diffuser gives the Leslie a lot of it's trademark sound. I asked John @ MS and he said 80%-90% of the leslies people use for rock and R&B have removed their diffusers anyway so he decided to design the MS without one. I, however, don't play rock or R&B so I am really curious as to how it might smooth the sound over a bit by adding a diffuser.

I know materials would also have to be mounted to the "dummy" side to compensate and balance, but I'm not really sure what to use and I don't want to mess up my KBR-3D.

any suggestions???
