Sorry, forgive my presumptuousness too! Yes, it was a Groove Tubes 12AX7
replacement. Although, I think any Svetlana or comparable tube would have
yielded a similar improvement. Many people feel GT's are overhyped...I have
no idea if this is true or not. Just passing on my little tube experience.
