My pedal unit doesn't have an output control on the back, but there
is a high/low gain switch on the side. Sorry to sound lame about
this, but is this the same function?

Actually, when you made that posting, I copied your settings to a
patch, which I really like, and use quite often. (In fact, your
settings have been "immortalized" on my CX-3 in a patch I've
named "David's B-3.")
