Im using 2 controllers and running B4, The Grand and Lounge Lizard
among others. I can place any sound on either controller and I like
that flexibility.
Ive been thinking of getting an Electro. The only thing holding me
back is the fact that its not multi-timbral. The only thing you can
run on a second keyboard is the organ lower manual. Would be perfect
for me if it could run the EP,Clav and Piano from a second keyboard
while playing the upper manual at the same time. Ive been practicing
playing long mellow backing cords on the organ with the left hand
while leading with piano or clav on the right. Some times I like to
comp with a fat organ and a clav too. I find playing 2 different
sounds at the same time much easier using upper/lower rather than
using a split. I guess its a line-of-sight thing. Im self taught and
basically I have to watch my fingers most of the time.
Two Electros would be very cool, and a dual manual Electro would
be ultra coolicious.
